Shams x TLF - 'On The March' Fundraiser T-Shirt

A collaboration between North East of England ’s “The Lubber Fiend” and Palestine’s Vintage Store and Brand “Shams” (Sun in Arabic) celebrates the spirit and dire need of independents in our times.

In a world overwhelmingly and increasingly dominated by a small minority of powerful interests, independents, their voices and the communities they create and cater for are more important than ever. This collaboration celebrates the the Lubber Fiend as a “vanguard” for North East England’s cultural and political scene and their unwavering stance in support of Palestine.

“Inspired by the past, ready for the future”, Shams is an independent vintage store and label in Palestine and has been promoting more sustainable consumerism for almost 5 years. Building a community of thousands , offering a glimpse into daily life in Palestine and releasing their own products as and when they see fit. Their status as an independent venture in Palestine, offers them full creative freedom, something that is not enjoyed by others tied to grants and funds from various other predatory interests.

Newcastle based designer Joe Munsey has donated his time to help with this shirt, the profits of which are going to help grass roots organisations in Palestine via Shams.
